Doesn't sound too good to me... I can't help you but I am interested in what it turns out to be... I have an 03 Rubicon.. and I haven't had any trouble with it at all.

hello new to furom i am having a problem with my 02 rubicon . will be going down trail and it pops out of gear makes a grinding noise then you have to slow down and then it will go back in . wondering if there is some kind of adjustment for these transmision,s . fluid is good in trans . any help would be great guys thanks in advance
