Well finally got all 4 mudlites on my 02 king quad 300. Kinda weird but I went with 25x8x11 on front and 25x10x12 on back, even though I know the fronts should be an inch shorter. I went with stock wheels on back and douglas aluminum 190s on front with an inch wider offset. First off I will say, the fronts at even being an inch higher than stock, are actually about 4 lbs lighter than the stock tires and wheels. Actually think I can feel a very slight difference in the weight when riding the quad. As far as ride, its a very noticable difference, with the mud lites being very smooth and not bumpy or jittery at all. Traction wise the mudlites kill the stockers on trails or slick surfaces. Before the fronts would plow to the sides when turning quick on slippery parts of trails, now its very even, with the back even sorta sliding out some with some gas. Much easier to handle and less scary. Overall VERY pleased with difference. Kinda hardly notice the mudlites, which is a good way of saying they just do the job perfectly. Handling is a lot better, even though its kind of a mud biased tire somewhat. Id say one of the best overall trail/mud tires Ive ever come across. If you own a king quad these tires rock. Will make you appreciate your king a lot more, and realize the quad aint lacking sportiness so much, but the stock tires are just sorta sucky, especially the fronts.

kevint,
You might as well buy a set of new u-joints right now, because it will not be long until you thrash the ones on your drive shaft and not to mention the binding you will be causing on your transmission. My hunting buddy had a Quadrunner 250 and he tried putting the same size on it and it totaly locked up the transmission and it was a bugger getting it to free wheel again. Had to put it up on its side and one guy on the front and one on the rear twisting the tires in oposite directions to get it unstuck, wonder how many mile's he took off the life of those gears.
As for the tires, they are a good trail tire. I found they like to grab the sides of dry rut's on the trail but not as bad as the 589's. Tire also wears quicker then most aggressive mud tires.
Anything is better then the stock tires if you want to play in the mud.
