It gives it a little more ground clearance. I don't think an inch more clearance makes that much differance, but thats what a dealer told my buddy and me when we got new treads.

Larger Diameter tires roll over obsticles on the trail easier, such as logs and rocks.

I've noticed that some of you folks run a taller tire in the front than the rear. What is the purpose of this? I am ready to replace my fronts, just put Maxxis 22" on the back of my Warrior, ride mostly mountain/rocky trails. Would putting taller than the stock (22") on the front be of any benefit?
Maybe it's more of a racing/draging advantage, in which case no real benefit to a trail rider????
I'm clueless.
Thanks in advance for any help.
