If your talking a 250R rear shock TCS can't rebuild them to be a true zero pre-load due to the lenght of the shock body. What Todd does is set it up with lots of sag. It still works excellent but it's not a true SCS. Only way around it is to buy a new shock.
My stock rear was converted and works a lot better than it did.

I had TCS totally rebuild my rear shock and it is night and day better. I had them revalve it, new spring, and hard anodize the body. It was around $300 and took 2 weeks. I would highly reccomend them. My buddy has an R and did a Works conversion on his rear and it is not even close to mine.

I am debating on whether to have TCS convert my rear shock, or to just drop the cash and buy new. Funny thing though....I dont have the cash. Somebody tell me what a I wanna hear, lol. Thanks

Killer,
How long did it take from the time you shipped it out to get it back? How much was it, roughly? How was the customer service? I have the new TCS no preload triples up front and absolutely love them, plus I got a killer deal on them, $750 shipped to my door. Thanks again, Chris.

have tcs do the conversion. you won't believe the difference.i have a tecate 4 and nobody and i mean nobody builds a zero preload rear shock for it and i had to have a no preload conversion done to it and i love it.i've seen alot of people have thier rears converted and they work just as good as any shock out there.i gaurantee it.and it's half the price of a new one.

I sent mine in on a Monday & had it back on Friday. No question about it, it works great. Was set up as zero preload.
