I'd go with the used zuki.

Yes, these are two entirely different animals. I have the same quadracer, and it is actually pretty easy to ride. Of course, the stock suspension and frame geometry aren't the greatest, but it should outperform the Jetmoto in just about every category I can think of. The only downside is parts availability, although i haven't really ever had a hard time finding things for my Zuk. I would think if the quadracer has been well taken care of, reliability would be fairly similar between these two quads. It is common for the older race quads to be pretty well beaten though. MyWifesQuad has a thread on the Jetmoto200, maybe you should ask him for some input.

These really are entirely different animals. The Quadracer is going to have 2-3 times the horsepower of the 4 stroke Jetmoto, and they weigh about 70 pounds less based on the claimed weights. I have an '85, and they actually produce pretty good power down low for a 250 2-stroke. If you plan on utilizing any of your great states dunes, go for the Zuki if it is in good condition. That particular model could be compared more to a 400EX or Z400 than the 250cc Jetmoto.

The Suzuki is going to be A LOT faster than that JetMoto. And from what i've heard, the JetMoto's are crapily built. But, if this your first quad, I would reccomend the JetMoto, because a 250 two stroke could be a lot to handle.

HI,

There are 2 quads that I am interested in and Im not sure which to go with

1. ATV 1985 Suzuki LT250R Quadracer - $1500

This Quad is clean and in good condition. Runs great and pretty fast. The head has been ported and polished. I've only ridden it in the sand since I've owned it and it runs all of the dunes of Glamis with no problems. I no longer have the time to ride. Comes with extra set of plastic and tires and other miscellaneous parts. Green stickered

vs

New Jetmoto 200cc

The biggest concern of ours is which is going to be the more safer. Since I dont beleive one will be that much faster than the other. Both are green stickered. I have heard lots of great things about the Jetmoto, but I also read that alot of people say get an older name brand

Thanks in advance for the input
