There is no way I'd stick my 2 year old on a 120lb+ vehicle with a HOT gas engine. Don't think any stock micro will handle sand anyway.
Seriously thinking about getting mine one of these electrics (blue one) when he's 3 or 4. Think they max out like at 7-10 mph.

I was looking around at some mini 50's and I would like to get my daughter one for her birthday, but I can't afford the Raptor 50 or Polaris Pred 50.
but I did find some 50's being advertised for around 700 bucks, Are these things any good? My girl is 2 years old now and it would be for her 3rd birthday, I would like a remote kill switch so I can push a button and shut it off before she runs into my house and I want throttle control perferably CDI unit control and not just a screw in stop on the throttle.
I was going to get her a jeep or something electrical from Wal-Mart but dang for a few hundred bucks more I could get her something much much nicer We take trips to the dunes and other trips and the electric jeeps don't work in the sand but a 50cc quad would.
The quad needs to be the smallest one I can find with a remote kill and electric start, and I want it reliable..
any suggestions or experences?
