ATK stocks everything you will ever need for a Cannondale

Posted by: JeffatTQS

Actually, they do exist! ATK bought over 400 tons of parts from Cannondale and are now selling them and producing parts and quads. Not once have I needed a part that I couldn't get.

Guys.....get your facts straight before you post bad info!

The parts are being made, check your facts again!

Your missing my point, ATK is producing quads and parts and will continue todo so as long as people are still riding and racing them!

Are you able to get C-dale parts near you? Take that into consideration as well. I would love to have a Dale, but dont want to drive 3 or 4 hours to get parts

If you are looking at the cdale simply because of the efi, so you dont have to jet it, then you are definately not mechanically inclined to own one of these machines. They are very nice, fast, and handle well. But reliable they are not. Unless you plan to spend the time to keep it running right, you should look into something else.

I am curious why you have 2 out of production, mx class quads in your line up, and then the predator. If you dont want to jet things, dont get a 2 stroke. the r is an awesome bike, but just like any other 2 stroke, requires a little more regular maintenance.

If you were looking at the r and cdale, I would have expected you to bring up the new 450 class bikes from yammi and honda. both of them are great as well, but dont think im trying to tell you what to get. Just trying to get a feel for what you really want out of the quad. What kind of racing are you planning on? xc, mx, tt? the cdale, and 250r would do great in any of those.

Whichever one is in the best shape for the lowest price. I always liked the Cannondales.

C-Dale all the way.

If I needed the parts for the cdale, I would probably order them from www.cdaleparts.com. Thanks for your opinions! Any one else with a suggestion?

I want to get it because I don't have to rejet (and yes me and my dad are both mechaically inclined), but I want a cannondale because I really like them and they've always been my dream quad. It's not that I can't rejet a carb, it's just that I would like something that I would be able to put an exhaust on it and just ride. I just hate rejetting carberators.I am thinking about starting to race mx because there is supposed to be a race track being built, that is probably less than 2 miles away from me. Plus my dad was a motorcycle mechanic and he is honda and yamaha certified if I needed any help with repairs.

Parts can be made all they want.....im not saying they arent...your missing my point im saying a couple years down the road they won be because new quads arent being made so when the demand is going away their will be no reason for atk to make them anymore. For example if honda died out in 1993 do you think you could still get readily available parts for lets say a 250x...no i dont think so.........
