You would need to be prepared to drop the motor and $100-800 in order to eliminate known flaws and make a Cannon as reliable as any hi perfomance quad. There were manufacturing inconsistencies and a disastrously negligent crank vendor that put cannondale out of motorsports. There is a great online network to help identify and correct each machines individual problems. So, I don't know if it would be WISE, but they are great quads.

I have heard that ATK has partnered up to make replacement parts for C-Dales. They are suppose to find all the weak parts and make thm better.

would it be wise of me to sell/trade my 02' Raptor with minor bolt on mods for a cannondale quad? I do plan on getting into the racing scene so would it be better for me? And what types of things should i watch out for while looking into used cannondales?
thanks
