I think you mean the Rancher 400AT? The Rancher 350 can be had with ES manual shift, but not selectable 2wd/4wd.

If you want a suspension that is similar to the Quadrunner then maybe you should look at the Arctic Cats.

I have heard lots of good things about Eigers. Honda ranchers are some of the most sold quads. I dont have any info on the Polaris model.
I dont know what you are running on your Kodiak but there are two easy fixes for its tipsiness.
First, you can buy aftermarket tires. I put Vamps on mine and never have a problem, except maybe doing doughuts. Second, you can buy spacers to widen it a bit. I didnt feel the need to after the tires. OR do both. I dont think you will need another quad if you will do any or all of the above.

I have an AT, I love it. Good power, better in esp mode, like in/out 4 wheel drive. Light enough to whip around on the trails too.
I looked at the eiger also. I thought it was really ugly, but that doesn't matter. I hear it runs really good. I also heard that you have to stop to put it in 4 wheel drive. I didn't like that idea too much. On the At just take your thumb off the throttle and push the switch. I bet you would get a much better deal on an eiger. I think when I priced them there was a $1300 difference. Same dealer, Same showroom.
I never even considered the Polaris.

rancher, iv ridden one alot, and pounded it, it took everything we through at it. I think honda really made a good util/sport(in my opinion) quad with the rancher, i havent ridden the AT, but the 350 was a great quad.

Looking at new 400s. Kinda narrowed it down to a Polaris SP400, Suzuki Eiger, and Honda Rancher ES. All auto tranny and shift in/out 4x4.
Suggestions / info on which way to go ?
Appreciate any input.
Currently own Quadrunner 250 4x4 and Kodiak 400. Need more power than the 250 and do not like the rear end suspension on the Kodiak. One wheel gets off the ground too easy.

Your right. It's an AT. Sorry. Looked at so many the last few days. I'm getting a little confused on what is what.
