Rubicon reliability remains an issue around here. Are you planning on using larger tires( 27, 28 in.)?

you just can't go wrong with a sportsman! pick a cc of your choosing & buy one!

I have the rubicon myself. It is over 100lbs lighter than the sportsman and has a real automatic transmission while the sportsman has a belt drive. The sportsman will ride smoother but the honda has the smoother transmission and better reputation for reliability.

I have recently purchased a polaris sportsman 500, so far I cant find anything wrong with it. I have not tried the rubicon so I can't say anything about it. I believe the polaris is a very nice machine and is great for almost everything.

Got it narrowed down to these 2, I will use it for huning, possibly food plots, and trail riding. Any help is greatly appreciated

Im with you on this one stubblejumper. Polaris will give you the smoother ride and a good powerfull quad. But The honda rubicon is more reliable and as a hidristatic transmision. But if your just doin some trail riding etc the Polaris is a good quad because the Rubicon rides kinda rough.
