Looking for other Texans out there who know about "farm use" laws on ATVs.
If you purchase an ATV for farm use and thus avoid the sales tax, is there a problem in later registering it. In Texas, ATV's don't have to be registered to ride on private property... but if you wanted to take it on public property, i.e. national forest land in New Mexico, it is supposed to be registered.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
