Definatly go Suzuki, either the Ozark or the Z250, I wanted to get the Ozark for my wife but she loved the Electronic shifting so much better we went with the Recon, other than it being a little coldblooded its rock solid (Theirs a reason Ozarkrider03).

This is kind of tough. He didn't really define if he wanted a sport or utility. If he wanted a 250 sport, I would take the Mojave. If he wanted a 250 ute, I'd take the Beartracker. But if he wanted something in the middle, the Polaris Trailboss seems like a good choice.

Suzuki Ozark if you are looking for a Sport Utility 250, or the new Suzuki Z250 if you want more of a Sport quad. Both have Shaft Drive, but the Z250 is lighter and faster than the Ozark.

If you want a fast and powerful 250 then get a Z-250 they are a very nice 250.

Hey, I plan on riding in wet and or sandy land in FL. I plan on puting mud tires on it Who sells the best 250 Quad for me. I am a bit small. so that means I can go faster better in mud!!!BR>
PS I still have to got pretty fast. I have to keep with a Woverine!!Oh and I like to jump ramps!

Sport atv's- 250EX or Z250? I would probably go with the Z250.
Utility atv's- Ozark, Beartracker, or Recon? I would choose a Recon again.
The Mojave is a little out dated but it does have liquid cooling. The Mojave has kick start and I don't like that it shares it's plastic with the Lakota.
If I was going to buy a 250cc again, I'd look seriously at the Z250. If your buying used than it opens your choices up some. Maybe even a used Warrior, 300EX, 400EX, etc...............

CoyoteChaser why would you choose the Recon? The Ozark beats it in everything. You don't make since sometimes man. Oh I forgot the Recon is a Honda so its gotta be the best Also he saids he wants more speed and the Ozark will dust a Recon.

I had my Ozark a few weeks now and love it. Its small, nimble, and powerful for a 250 and runs through the wooded trails with any of the big boys. Since it sounds like you play even harder, I'd go with the Z250 without a doubt.
