Whats up man. Heres what I think. I would go with whatever makes you happy. The raptor is a great machine, I just got mine today and it is sweet. It has so much power that I havent been able to even get a taste of what it is capable of doing. The 400ex is also a good machine. They are both great. Depending on whether you are on a budget or not I would look into both machines. The 400ex is like a grand cheaper. In my opinion I would go with the raptor because if your going to spend all the money for a quad, why not beat the pants off of your riding buddies. Thats always fun. Sorry that I wasn't that much help, I hope you pick the right one, and sorry it took so long for someone to reply to your post.

I agree with elanphea buy what makes you happy and what will suit your needs and wants. By the way there are other sport quads out there besides Yamaha and Honda stuff. Like Bombardier, Cannondale and the other manufactures are going to be following the 4 mentioned above lead very soon. Suzuki has a 400cc sport comming out soon also.

Which quad do u think i should buy. i ride in a lot of trails. mud, water and sand is all over . which do u guys think i should get. and what are the good and bads about these quads
