Whats up, my buddy had a recon and it went through anything. If your talking about a sport machine, you could either go with a honda 400 or raptor. They are both very good machines and are probably plenty of power.

i have a 300ex now and i want to know what kind quad to get next. i ride in snow, mud, water, sand , and in trails. i want somethin fast and powerfull but is good in mud.

Find someone with a 650 prairie and take it for a ride and you'll be sold. It's the all around machine with one of the highest load rates for towing and unsupassed power. Very responsive and fun to ride.

try out the grizzly 660. it has all you want, and mybe some more! ride them all, and then narrow it down to the 2 you have a hard time choosing over. I bet it will be between the prarie and the grizzly. then deside if you want 4 wheel independant suspencion or not. there will lie your choise. both are fast and vary powerful, and both are fun to ride. i said it would be between them to couse you stated fast as a choise, so it eliminated the ac 500 line. the sportsman 700 is just sooo heavy, but still a great quad. I truly beleave there is no (bad) quads anymore, so whatever you choose, it will surly bring you loads of fun!

Judging from what you said, in my humble opinion (and appreciating your need for speed). I would say make sure you check out the Grizz660, SP700, and SP500. The Prairie will meet your need for speed, but I will never own anything but and ATV with IRS, and the prairie ain't got it (nor do the bigger suzukes). I would recommend my 500i, but you would get beat in drag races and top speed (not on the trails though). Also, for mudding a locker would be a plus, and mine doesn't have a locker either.

I would go with the 500 Polaris Scrambler.My bro has one and it will do all the things you want it to do.Goin threw mud,sand,water,jumpin,and goin fast.
