Im going to purchase a raptor in december. Ive done a lot of research on both machines and I believe with the new modifications done to the 02 raptor it will be superior to the 400ex. This is just my personal opinion though.

I will be buying a 4 wheeler soon and I can't decide which one to buy. A friend of mine had a 2000 400EX over the summer and I liked it, but I really like the looks and the reputation of the Raptor. I only have about one year experience riding 4 wheelers, but many years on bikes. We don't have many mountain trails around, so most of the riding will be in river beds and surrounding areas. Which do you all suggest?
