If you can find a 660 Grizz, that would be MY choice.I 've owned two new Polaris 4x4 ATVs and while both ATVs were a blast to ride, they wore out ALOT of parts in a very short time.
If its a choice between the 600 Grizz and a Sportsman, take the Sportsman. The 600 Grizz has its share of problems to.

I had a 2000 Grizz 600, and my buddies ride 98-01 SP's. Get the SP. It is a far better mudder, trail machine, is just as fast in most cases, and is geared FAR BETTER than the Grizz.

Well, than it makes it somewhat better fot the Grizzly. But you still have a better ride & more clearance with the SP. Power would go to the Grizz. Seeling the SP becasue of the Polaris faithful may be easier, thus the resale value may be higher for the SP? Tough choice. Can you ride both 1st & see which "feel" you like better? Also, think about the dealer service you will be getting. Is one better than the other?
Good luck.

Which should I buy? I can get the same price for either unit. It will be used for hunting , fishing and mudding.

I forgot to mention that it was the Sportsman 400.

Well after much consideration, I bought the Grizzly 600. The offer was to good to pass up and I was a little concerned about the quality and reliability of the Polaris products.
