Is $5500 a good price for a 2001 Xplorer 400? It comes with a free winch until June 30. I am in the Houston area.

The best I have been able to deal is $5400 with the winch. Cost onthe macj=hine is $5000 so I guess no dealer will take less than 8% profit. $400 seems to be a fair markup.

It was quite accidental. I was out shopping for a new ATV on Saturday and was set on getting a new Suzuki Eiger 400 but they weren't in. While visiting a friend 45 minutes away on Sunday I saw the Xplorer 400 and for $800 less than the Eiger I couldn't pass it up so went first thing this morning when they were open and bought it.
