Guess it depends on what color you like better. If that doesn't matter then get the never used 97 and save the 400 for some pipes.

I would think that the 1997 should be more than $400.00 cheaper than the others. Try and work a better deal and if they won't budge take one of the newer models. Now if you were in California, I say go with the 1997 as it would be issued green sticker registration (non-restrictive) while the other two would get red stickers (restricted use). If Oregon has no such environmental restrictions then get one of the newer models. Also as someone pointed out the resale would be better (in Oregon).

I agree with RudeDog -- it should be a lot less than $400 below list. Its not really a new machine just with old papers. Over that time, seals can dry up, engine parts can get gummy, wires can crack, etc. You might have a good bit of work getting it into shape to start with.
And lets ask, is it really un-used or has it been rebuilt? Do you know why it has sat for four years without use? I've seen cars in similar situations and they always seem to have flood damage or some other colorful history.
I'd get a new one or a new something else if money is running that close.

Yeah I will try that, anyway I might just modify my blaster a lot instead. Because I can say that it is not stock anymore. On saturday 2/3/01 I went riding my motorcycle with some girls and I fouled my plug. But one of the girls dad. worked on my motorcycle and now it runs really good. He has a Banshee, Raptor, 2 Wolverines, 2 hondas, skyhawk 150, Blaster. He has 2 more but I can not remember what they were. They are not all his thye are his families.

Personally if it were me and I had the money Id buy the new 2001, just cuz it will have a higher resale value in the future if you decide to sell it, and I like the color..

HEY! Where ever you found a brand new 97 banshee for 400 bucks, If you dont get it tell me and tell me wher it is and i will travel far for it.

Well, there is places where I can buy a stock 1997 banshee never used for like $400 dollars or more cheaper than a 2001 or 200. And I do not know what year I should buy. I know I do not want to get a used one. I am only a kid so that is why I dont know what to do. please reply with help
