If you are a younger guy, take someone along a little older (maybe your dad), the dealership should take you seriously then and let you ride.

i have a ds650 and my wife has a raptor, the ds is a far better machine stock but i put ron woods stage1 kit in it and it kills the raptor now, the raptor can be made better if you put 3500.00 dollars in a arms, axle, and shocks though, but then it's only as good as a ds with a pipe.

I see you live in PA, with that I guess you will not see any dunes so I would get the Raptor. Don't rule out the 400ex(excellent quad), and don't rule out the Polaris Scramblers.

I plan on buying a quad soon, either a ds650 or a Raptor. My problem is i have ridden a ds650 but none of the yamaha dealerships in my area will let me ride a Raptor. What is up with that? Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions? If anyone in or around the green lane area of pennsylvania has a Raptor that they would't mind me riding let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.
