I don't think the frame will be a weak point,,,,If anyone in the USA can do it Cannondale can.
What's got me spooked is the motor,,,,Main bearing,2nd gear, exaust tuning to EFI.IE- length of the pipe and anti-reversition matching.
Maybe if the motor came with a one-year warranty? That EFI would cost an arm and a leg to fix.
A little note in history- The P51 mustang went from concept to active WW II fighter in 151 days,,,adrenochrome?

The FX400 has excellent form. The power is very smooth and abundant. It handles better than a 250R with aftermarket suspension. It smoked the Raptor. We must have drag-raced it 15 times - the FX400 even smoked the Raptor through first gear. It (the FX400) is going to be an awesome woods and trail machine."

Its nice to see some new macines coming out!Theres no way a production machine can perform better than a custom tuned chassis. If the aluminum frame can stay in one piece I will be suprised, especially with the pounding it will take in the NJ pines.Aluminum might work on bikes but for a quad I cant see it being strong enough, not in the first year production.

The handling sounds promising. The power/weight ratio seems a bit off from initial writeups of the fx400. Whats so impressive about beating the Raptor in first gear? First gear? Come on! Then again, the info. should be taken with a grain of salt since the test rider looks like he is'nt a "SEASONED" racer with a realistic opinion.
