What are you going to do with it?

What Pdavis had to say was right to the point
esp about proper riding gear.
My suggestion, after you buy a Good Helmet(manditory),
goggles(if needed, you may opt for a Road-style Helmet w/visor)Good Boots(manditory)and a set of gloves(your option), is to
take a good look at my namesake!
Can't wait till its off Warranty,
then time to see if YZ400F five valve
head will fit, so far looks good
Whatever you choose, best of luck dude

I do the same type of riding as you and my 00" warrior has been perfect. You dont need 4 wheel drive unless your going to spend all day in the mud. My warrior get through plenty of mud and water, and then speed off by the 4x4's.

If you are going to be riding trails and mud and water alot. you don't really need a four wheel drive atv just a good powerful one. I would get a polaris trailboss94 wheel drive) or a polaris trailblazer(2 wheel drive). I have a 1999 trailblazer it ride very good in mud and water and can go fast on trails.When i was riding last friday it was really muddy down by the lake me and alot of other people ride in. you can be going through a small puddle and it will end up being three feet deep. but anyway i was on the two wheel drive tail blazer and i was pulling 4 wheel drive atvs out of the mudd

I am getting a atv when I turn 16, but i don't really what to get. I am 5'11". I am considering a 300ex, Mojave, Lakota, warrior, kodiak, wolverine, or a scrambler 4x4 400 or 500. So if yall peoples have any suggestions please tell me

I plan on riding in mud, water, trails, rocks, lots of sand, and a track.

I bought a TAMA Grizzly 99, the thing is basically JUNK after only 400 miles. The dealer here in wisconsin won`t buy the thing back and is more or less giving me a brush off.Make sure what ever you buy the dealer will stand behind what they sell.I bought my 99 Grizzly at Wausau Motor sports.

Sounds like a sport 4X4 is what you need. Something that can handle all those terrians you mentioned. You will probably need one with a pretty big engine to ride in sand and mud. So that would narrow it down to a 400 or 500 scrambler, you can get lots of horsepower out of the 2 stroke 400. Also the Wolverine would be good except it would be slower. And the Kodiak is a great looking machine and probably would have good power.

1st- determine the intended use of the atv and do your research accordingly;
2nd - buy your helmet and eye(s) protection;
3rd - then buy your atv.
Ride safe, live long, have fun. It's smart and easy.

Bring your 2 wheeler down here in WV and see if that 2 wheel drive will climb I have a buddy that has one of the polaris sports and he knows it won't go where the 4x4 will go. Everbody knows the 2x4's fly but they won't climb with the big boys...
No 2x4 follows the Cat...
