The Sport 400 is now the Scrambler 400 2x4

In a recent Dirt Wheels mag. test, the Sport 400 (now Scrambler 400 2x4) more than once, with the same riders, had better times than a 300ex on a MX track. See, pigs can jump! WillieB - '99 Scrambler 500

I need a good trail quad, but I also need a good mx machine. And I'm going to a TT Race tommorow and I might get started in that. I would like a 400 ex but I need a quad that has reverse. And is the mojave hard to kick???????? Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

scrambler is way to fat for mx, mojave underpowered don't handle as good as the 300ex so buy the ex it's really the only good choice u have out of the one's you've named.much better than the mojave and scrambler for the riding u do. brandon maness(98 300ex)

This months issue of Four Wheel atv action has an article on the 2000, 300EX. It rates it as the #1 sport quad for trail riding. Yes, better than the 400EX. But for trail riding, not mx. I am the owner of a model year 2000, 300EX also. I think that the machine is an awsome trail ride. With a few mods, I think that it would be ok on the track as well. Chris "00" 300EX
