Yes,2-stroke Am class. This is the third year and I really like it. Dale

Posted by: dalegoldston

Caddo Point is a nice track, Joe Miller puts a lot of hard work on it. The next race is July 8. You can practice there but you need to call before to be sure its cool first. The tqra web site will have the number to call. Later Dale

I was at Caddo Point sunday practicing, I was on a red 250RX conversion, riding with a white 250R, there werent any other quads there besides the owners kid and 2 400ex's I cracked my swing arm trying to make that step up into a table top "like the pros" I plan on racing there aug 6 In the blaster/350cc class I want to meet some of you there to practice

Posted by: trick250rX

I have got to get me a swing arm before I can go, It might take me a while to get $500 smakers together so... I might still race teh aug 6th race with a cracked swing arm and if it breaks to hell with it I am getting a new one anyways, I will get back to yall on a practice time when we can all meet

Posted by: trick250rX

yeah the owners kids are awsome, I have only seen the olderone ride, his bike is full leager chassis and he doesnt take care of it for crap, I will try to be out there in at least 2 weeks I gotta get a new swing arm, and I gotta get some money and it will take it a while to get here, I think I will just get a oem 89 swing arm I cant wait long enough for a LSR, If any of you know someone with a 88-89 swing arm for sale please get in contact with me

Posted by: trick250rX

Yeah I got a used one that had been polished for $160, it will be here monday so all of us should meet next weekend if yall dont want to do it during the week

I havent been to the TQRA track in a few years. How is the track this year? Do they still have that big goofey step up jump? When does everyone go and practice there? I need to spend a little time out there before the next race. Brad, what track are you at on your web page? That looks like a sweet track. I live in Cleburne and there is no where to practice around here. How come none of you guys come to the Lake Whitney races. That is one hellofa track. They are letting the quads race up the mountain this year. It is fun as hell. It just adds about a mile of track. We liked to have died after four laps on the fouth of July weekend race. We told them the quads probley need to make a few less trips around the track. The bikes really put some ruts down. You guys will have to come and race there. Later http://www.geocities.com/ctbanshee

Thanks, Where is the track in Celaste. Are you going there any time soon? If you are I would like to meet up with you there so I wont be the only quad around. If you would let me know. The track I saw on your site had big smooth jumps. Not a lot of trees around. I dont know which one that is but it looks sweet. later

Hey! I am ready to go get some time in on that track before the August race. Let me know when everyone is going. Do you call Joe before you go? Let me know. http://geocities.com/ctbanshee

Weatherford races every friday night. I went to a buttload of races there last year , but havent been to any this year. I have only been to Weatherford once this year for practice. It is a neat track because of the fact they let quads race. As far as the layout, I am not to fond of it. Its like there is no time to collect yourself if you nearly eat it , before you hit the next jump or whoop section. It is cool that you can race at night when its not so hot outside. It does beat standing around in the 110 degree heat of TQRA track. They also have medics there. That something the TQRA races did not have last time I was there.

Posted by: ctbanshee

I am not sure if they are still practicing on weekends or not. I am pretty sure they practice during the week still. They have two classes- expert and novice. I saw so many guys with blasters throw there money away having to race the 250r,400ex,and banshee's its not even funny. They are pretty good to the quad racers though. They dont do B.S. like make us practice first after they spend an hour watering it. You should go check it out. They have some sick tripple jumps!! Its also a concrete starting pad which is really sweet.

Posted by: Banshee_16

Yep, it is a nice track. It is prolly about 1 1/4 long with HUGE table tops and doubles. They are racing there this Sunday. It is not A TQRA race though. The best track in the TQRA is the field of dreams track in Okmulgee OK IT IS A SWEAT TRACK. oh well i hope to see you all there.

Posted by: Banshee_16

NO, bikes are going to race tomarrow also. But there will be a lot of us quad guys there too. Hope to c-ya there Later

Posted by: Banshee_16

I ride a red and yellow Banshee. My number is 16. Was you at Cash yesterday?

Posted by: Banshee_16

I was the only red and yellow Banshee there so it was prolly me. One of the tracks on my site is at Sherman/Denison, but it is now changed (more of a motorcycle track). And the other one is at Celeste. It is a nice track. Caddo Point has two step-ups now. The one that you remember is easy now, but the other one is huge(I dont hit it).I will tell you(hondatrx300ex) when they are going to have another motorcycle and quad event. I dont know now, but i will tell ya when I find out. I think the TQRA races are better they get over with faster, the bike kinda get boring after awhile Oh yea, notice my new profile.

Posted by: Banshee_16

There is anouther step up about in the middle of the track. But the pro's make it into a tabletop. I dont do the big step up, big double, or the 2 other smaller doubles. I had a bad crash on a double one time. I do the small forgiving ones, but I am working on doing the bigger ones. I raced in the open Am. I came out in 4th. I am in 2nd overall, I think i am going to be in 1st after Saturday. My name is Brad Coonrod, so you can see it on www.serve.com/tqra You can go to www.badlandsmx.com to get the directions to the Celeste track. They do not have the next race planned yet.

Posted by: Banshee_16

Oh yea, was you there when the guy on the Banshee wrecked on the big step up. He was in 3rd adn I was in 5th when it happened. that is the first time I have ever seen a race be red flagged.(stopped)

Posted by: hondatrx300ex

hey what's the deal is it open for practice all the time? I've been trying to call but can't get anybody. how much does it cost to practice? so it's a good track huh? I'm gonna try to make it out there maybe this weekend or next week. so do they have alot of doubles and tabletops? about how big? what number is on your mojave? what class you race? the number isn't on mine but it's gonna be 3. anyways later ya'll

Posted by: hondatrx300ex

I plan on practicing there sometime this week. I hope to race on july 8th.

Posted by: hondatrx300ex

I'll probably come check out the race tomorrow. I'm not gonna race since I haven't even been on the track yet. so is this a quad only race tomorrow? anyways I'm gonna try to get there and check things out. later

Posted by: hondatrx300ex

well I'm only 15 and mom and dad are busy and my sister won't let me take her car and I don't have a truck yet so I'm pretty much stuck here. oh yea I don't really know how to get there.all it says is get on 34 off of I 30. so where is 34? if you could help me out on that I would appreciate it. anyways I'm for sure gonna go down there and practice next week. I'm also planning on racing on the 8th. well I gotta go. see ya

Posted by: hondatrx300ex

Posted by: hondatrx300ex

here we go www.angelfire.com/tx3/banshee16 the next TQRA race is august 6th if anybody knows if they are just gonna have a normal race let me know

Posted by: hondatrx300ex

yea sorry I mean I was a cash yesterday....I think I saw a red and yellow shee like yours...I didn't ride just checked things out......gonna race next time......I'll be #3 in the 200cc/350 4 stroke class ok later

Posted by: hondatrx300ex

what other step up is there besides the one after the finish? that one is tall. you don't do it? what class is that you were racing? it was like almost all shee's. maybe today or tomorrow I can get out there and practice. do you do that big double over by the starting gates? I think that big step up and that one by the starting gates are gonna be the ones that are gonna take some time for me. anyways see ya

Posted by: hondatrx300ex

is it just me or do the owners sons haul azz? yesterday they were taking turn doing heelclickers and stuff off that big double over by the starting gates. then I was acting stupid and just kinda hopped it and threw my feet off and stuff. everybody started laughing. so which one are ya'll talking about making into a table top like the pros do? yesterday was the first day I've ridden it, its a fun track.I got all the jumps down except that big step up and the double by the start. I finally got the double before the whoops and the whoops down pretty good. so when does everyone wanna meet up out there? well anyways hope to see ya'll there......I'll be #3 on a 300ex. later

Posted by: hondatrx300ex

Posted by: hondatrx300ex

Posted by: hondatrx300ex

It's about 50 min from Dallas, right outside of Greenville. from Ft. Worth it's about 1hr and 45 min. Come on out...lots of nice jumps
