I own a Shee and all but even if I didn't .. I'd have to say a Shee will take ya, Kinda easy to ..

Mine isn't clutched but I race against a banshee a lot and I get raped but his also is a good cry from being stock. He's got a bit of money into it. You might be close to a stock one maybe beat it they weigh a bit less 100lbs or so than a scrambler and he's got gears, you should prob take a stock one on bottom end but he'll prob get you in the end. IDK if mine was clutched right I'd have a better idea but mines slow even with my mods.

if your stock 400 beat your stock shee in a drag, I would have to say there is something wrong with your shee

Ill race that ws6 with my death trap.Quarter mile whatever. Id also race it to 80mph with my 250r

Oh it runs its just alittle hard to hold onto. Im sure theat ws6 is fast, just thought it was good conversation LOL. Modding the frame sucked. It took 3 frames before I got it right. Now the interesting equation in all this is power to weight ratio. I'm not sure what you ws6 weighs but im guessing 3000lb. At that weight your p to w is about 7.5 lbs. per hp. My death trap is about 4.6 lbs per hp and thats with me on it. If I ever get home I will post some pics. I work for Verizon and travel all over the place, I never get a chance to ride anymore. It sucks, but the money is good LOL. Oh yeh you have to remember that trying to launch on a motorcycle is very difficult. Try racing any crotch rocket from a rolling start and I bet the 600's will hand it to ya.

Oh I missed the part about the bottle. Yeh Im not sure about all that if you are on the bottle.LOL

LOL If I actually raced a quarter mile on the D T I Probably wouldnt survive.LOL It hits about 100 in 4th but it gets real scary from there. Ive never completely tached it out in 4th and god forbid im scared as hell at that point. Forget about 5th and 6th. Atv's were never ment to do 100+. But it sure is cool to say you own one that will.LOL

Extended 8in, but I extended a 86 arm so its 9 in over the 88&89. No wheelie bar......yet

How would i compare to a stock banshee with my quad and the proceeding mods?
Posted by: joshk1234
How much did your billet head help?
Posted by: joshk1234
I'll tell you something that really helped my quad other than the pipe was gearing down the rear sprocket. I bought it with a 40 tooth in the rear and changed it to a 42 tooth and i noticed so much more acceleration right there! Maybe you should look at throwing on a 38 or 40 tooth yourself and let me know if you stay w/ the banshee any better
Posted by: joshk1234
Oh and how did your Vforce2 reeds help? Did you lose any bottom end?? You must have gained quite a bit on middle end and top end right?
Posted by: muddstudd
you two stroke guys sure do stick together, i got a new one for ya, 00 pontiac trans am ws6 ls1 vs. a bone stock show room condition banshee. j/k

i'm not trying to be sarcastic but does your death trap run, and was it hard to fab. i've seen quite a few engine swaps kinda like that, that are never finished. oh yea, the t/a is putting out about 425 to the wheels without the bottle, its a 200 wet shot so i'm not sure what that equals to at the wheels but the only street bikes that can take it are the buasas or that new kawi zx14, maybe a good running or modded 1000.

the ws6 spins from the line to about half through third and ran an 11.76 on the motor. with the addition of new slicks and the qa1 coilovers it should spin very little if at all. i've rode a couple bikes and i've launch an 01 gsxr600 before. i weigh about 275 and with me laying on the tank it didn't come up or spin. but that was on chip and seal and riding the clutch alittle. i can't imagine launching that 929 though, how long is your swing arm and do you have a wheelie bar.

i got a honda 400ex and a yamaha banshee both stock

I raced a banshee with my 400ex and off jump for about 50 yards i was smoking him but his shee has powerband so in long run i didn't have a chance.
