Man, I only dream of a complex like that here. If I was closer I would definitely show and give support. That facility looks awesome. Have fun!

How much and what is the sound limit. Do they have a number and why is it on a WED?

I had planned on going until I measured my pipe. 103dB. That's an HMF slip on a Cannondale.

Better change your exhaust because there is a sound limit.

I was their last night and I had a blast. It was my first time riding on a track (one of the beginners). I can't wait for next week. Every one should come out and show support and keep the track open.

Anyone interested, There will be a Quad only practice on the new track at the L.A county fairgrounds in Pomona, ca. Practice session will start @ 4:30p.m and end @ 8:50p.m on Wednesday the 10th. This will be a chance to show that quads deserve a place on this track. If we don't get enough quads out, then the track will be closed to quads. From what I hear, this track is smooth and and great for quads. People over @ Denton Racing compared it to LACR. If you are a southern cali rider, then get your butt out there and show some support.

Ya! there's a sound limit but last week a Z-450 (yosh-motor) was out there. I know a 450-yosh motor Z is louder than my honda. I think the max is 97d. I think YZF dirtbikes are allowed on the track. I'll post something about the sound limit and if c-dales and YFZ will pass the sound test. I hope we get enough quads out.

Well I made it out. Getting in was a b!tch. The first test was 102dbi. I was able to get some packing and pack my muffler. The second reading was 100dbi. So I packed my muffler again. The third time was a charm, It read 99dbi and the max is 98dbi( it only took an hour and half to get in). They let me slide. I don't think the guys doing the reading are do it right. I can't believe my quad read 102dbi before I packed the muffler. They need to change that rule. They turned away about 4 quads and 2 bikes while I was there. If the expect to get more people out, they do need to change that rule to maybe 100dbi. Well the track was great. A bit techincal but way better than elsinore. The track could be wider. There was about twenty quads, mostly beginners (We all need to start some where). The jumps are great. You can get some good air. I plan on going next wednesday if I can pass the sound test. I recommend this track to any one who wants to ride. I give this track a 8 when compared to LACR (being a 10).

Funny how they place sound limits on quads at L.A. County Fair Grounds. I use to live about 10 miles from the fair grounds and I could the Winter Nationals from my house.
