Yeah you can meet your favorite Pro's and talk if they have time. I heard they did some tree trimming at Southwick so you should be able to see the racing better than before. Im sure you will see a bunch of 450's racing. I think the Pro classes will run Sunday, but I could be wrong on that.

Southwick will seperate the men from the boys...it should be a good show.

Posted by: Chawness

It will prolly be around $30 for the whole weekend.

Posted by: Chawness

ORANGE, Im sure the hurricane will have some affect on the weather in Southwick, it should be mostly out of the area Saturday I think.

Posted by: Chawness

Glad to hear you had a good time! Did you see plenty of YFZ's? What happened to BIG Joe Byrd?

Posted by: boxcars4

yes that sounds correct for spectator fees. I will be racing as well.. the 250 c class as well as the 25+ class.. should be good times.. Heading up thursday night and hopefully will bare the weather... yikes... well wish everyone luck and hope we all have fun and a safe time and hopefully the weather atleast holds for us saturday and sunday..

Posted by: boxcars4

yes I will be racing those classes above. I have a white enclosed trailer with "Fast Line Racing" in the side.. stop by.. the adminssion for spectators is 30 for sat & sunday... 30 gets you both days.. 20 for just sunday if that all you do. 35 for friday sat sun..

Posted by: boxcars4

looks like the weather may get a little crappy friday... may not run practice personally if it is bad out.. but saturday and sunday look to be very nice.. chilly but nice... see you there

Posted by: boxcars4

Well the weekend sure turned out nice.. Pretty rainy friday but after it cleared it was great from there on in.. I personally had a pretty good run. 8th overall in the 25+ class. And 11th overall for the 250c class. So can't complain. The track.. Well it sure beat the heck out of me thats for sure. But it was great seeing the pro's run it.. Man they are fast.. Well great turn out guys I am sure we will have another great turn out for the memorial race.. And its a points race for me.. So gotta push even harder...

Posted by: boxcars4

I was on the woods section. Behind the duncan trailer, and korry ellis, byrd.. Stayed pretty dry during the rain was nice.

Does anyone know where to find the average lap times for the Pro ATV class? The Carmichael's of the world have an average time of 1min55sec. Just wondering how the Quads compare?

DSRACER666,
I watched both of your races and i have to take my hat off to ya.....you ran the tires off that DS650....i have never seen anybody as some on a DS650 as you. you deserve the great finish....just comes to show, the racers in NEATV-MX are fast and can compete at the NATIONAL level...congrats on your finish....you look awesome out there...

Herbdon,
I'll be waiting for you! I'm sure I am on your "others" list, Scaggs! Maybe we'll meet at the Hill before the year is out. You better go to NJ with us next year! Tell Jen now!

Posted by: Raptorguy

I run open B.

Posted by: Raptorguy

Z,
No I didn't run. Pulled my axle out Sat. morning in the its to put a new sprocket hub on and the inner races for the carrier came with it. So I just got my entry back and became a spectator. Pretty banged up still from a big crash at Jolly and one at Diamondback. Been a long season.

Posted by: Atkins450

I cant wait! This weekend is the final round of the GNC Championship in Southwick, MA! This is the first pro motocross race im ever attending, and I was wondering what I should expect. I'm going Saturday and Sunday. What days are the Pro 250, Pro Production classes raced? Can i meet and talk to my favorite racers? Can I expect to see any YFZs racing? Is it worth it to go both days???

Posted by: Atkins450

thanks!, that helps out alot!, anyone else know anything?

Posted by: Atkins450

ds racer, your racing??? what class will you be in? i'll come in see ya. when some kid comes up to you and says hey, im atkins450, from atvconnection, you'll know who your talkin to.

Posted by: Atkins450

does anyone know how much admission is?

Posted by: Atkins450

i saw online that it was $40 for saturaday, and $30 for sunday...is this accurate???

Posted by: Atkins450

Leaving for Southwick at 7 A.M. tomorrow! Got a hotel in Holyoke MA. Thanks for all the info guys! dsracer666 and boxcar4, ill visit you there, and just incase i cant find you, have a great race!

Posted by: Atkins450

This was the most amazing thing i have ever seen! I got to hang out and shoot the breeze with my idols, watch the most amazing racing I have ever seen, and, while Wes Miller was giving me his autograph, I got to hold his 16mm camera he tapes Huevos with!!!!!

Posted by: Atkins450

the pro production class had about 10 yfzs, 2 z's, and a c-dale. yfzs were everywere. The best quad i saw was either dana creech's 40 grand quad, or K&K racing's YFZ. I'll post pics if i get my scanner to work.

Posted by: Atkins450

hey dsracer666, do you have two kids that race?????

Posted by: Atkins450

hey boxcar4, was your trailer in the woods section, or in the field section of trailers? Past the pros or before the pros?

Posted by: Atkins450

boxcar4: was your quad for sale? were you on the left or right side of that dirt path behind kory ellis?

Posted by: Atkins450

were you at the base of the hill behind LA Sleeve along the fence?

Posted by: Atkins450

dsracer666: how much do you weigh ds?

rolopari:governor off my quad?

Posted by: Atkins450

nope, just me!, I vividly remember the fat guy with 2 kids and a ds, and i just assumed it was you, so you were near that path from the pits through the fence to that side trail?

Posted by: Atkins450

i think i remember your dad. does he have short black hair with a black mustache(not 100% sure about the mustache)?

Posted by: Atkins450

red/white yfz? i remember a guy on a red/white yfz buzzin around the pits all day Sat/Sun.

Posted by: Atkins450

i dont know. Southwick is 2 hours away and itll be extremely hard to get a ride. Wanna pick me up???lol

Posted by: Atkins450

so how was the nacarato memorial race? I couldnt go..

Posted by: rolopari

Anyone going to the memorial race in Oct. at Southwick? Does anyone know if 4 year olds can race that weekend? Thanks

Posted by: rolopari

Thanks. I think you were camping next to us. I saw you a few times there.

Posted by: rolopari

We were in the wood behind byrds trailer. My sisters husband races in the 30 plus class. My son races in the 50cc class. Did your father or you take the goveror out of a quad?

Posted by: rolopari

lol no our 50 cc. My sis friendis #666 they took the goveror offmy sons quad. My son was the smallest kid racing there.

Posted by: rolopari

Oh ok sorry.

Posted by: rolopari

Also there is a 0-50cc stock class (4-8). Depending on the place you go to, some places its 6-9.
