The changes for the youth will not be final until sometime in Dec when the board of Directors(trustee's) for the AMA meet. Last year and again this year the ATVA made some changes for the youth sizes and classes, but the legal dept told the directors to veto them.
This is done just like the US govt. congress passes the rules or laws and the pres can veto if he wants to. The AMA/ATVA congress passes the rules and the directors have the final say., just like the govt.

I had to leave the meeting to go to Budds Creek GNC just when the youth was being worked on, so I don't know what the came out for the numbers. Changes were made, but nothing will be posted till in Dec. just incase it gets voted down again. Hopefully it will get passed this year. Again I don't kown what the final numbers and ages where.

I emailed Doug Morris asking when the rule changes would be out:
Jack,
Just one or two small points that we are working on, should be able to
post Monday if everything works out.
Thanks
