Hub City Dragway http://www.hubdrag.com will be hosting an 1/8 mile ATV drag race on the following dates.
Sat. Nov. 23rd 12:00 Noon Bracket Race (no electronics)
Sun. Nov. 24th 1:00 PM Grudge Racing
Entry Fee for the bracket race will be $40 with the payout as follows:
1st $1000
2nd $500
3rd $250
4th $125
5th $75
*This payout is based on 50 entries.
Heads Up Banshee Class Entry Fee will be $50
Heads Up Unlimited Class Entry Fee will be $50
Payback in both classes will be 100%, paying 60% to 1st and 40% to 2nd.

Sorry no pictures. If you have ever been to the Hub before you know you can't see except on the starting line. I could have went down there but it wasn't worth it. There were only about 8 bikes there, all banshee and one almost stock Raptor. The fastest time I saw was a 7.2. There was a guy there on a very nice 521 T-Rex Lonestar framed shee on alky, but he couldn't keep it together. The first run the rear fenders came half way off. The second run, with no fenders the seat came off. I think he loaded up and went home after that. I did see alot of pretty fast bikes.

Yeah he was grabbing for the parts that were falling off. It was really sad to see such a fine machine do that. And to watch everyones reaction, I actualy heard a guy say" what a peice of ..."
You also have to understand that there are hardly ANY fast bikes around here. Next time I hope to be in the mix with them.

sallisaw,oklahoma is going to host a atv 1/8 race to. we are not for sure on the date yet. if anyone has any tips on how to get this thing started PM me with them. we have a ATV class every saturnight now if anyone is in the area that wants to race.

i'm shooting for the 7.2's. i hope i can get them without falling apart. did the banshee just run half way and let off? something like that should be inthe low 6's.
