LT-80: The meanings were switched but that doesn't matter. I almost think they should adopt a no passing or doubling rule on any yellow flag. With the low caliber of flaggers I have seen recently they probably forget wether or not they should wave the flag anyways. That would be a very clear rule and very easy to remember too. Now I know Tprender can't go changing rules in the middle of a season but it'd be an easy way to clarify everything.

Well it seems that there is trouble with the wording on the yellow flag rules.
On the pit board the rules is said to be this:: stationary yellow means that you cannot jump or pass because of trouble on the track. A waving yellow means that you can jump and pass but with caution (I may have the meanings switched).I read the rules that Tprender showed me,and I read the rule as having one flag, that means that you can pass and can jump but with caution.I am hoping that Tprender will post the rule on this "quoted" from the book and see how others read the rule. It sure seems confusing, because what happens if the wind makes the flag move??,thus is not stationary, and a racer will have a hard time understanding, and taking a chance on being docked a position.
Food for thought

The flaggers at Daniel Boone were terrible. They didnt do their job while out there and they should have been replaced by someone who knew what they were doing. I hope the flaggers are better at Red Bud.

I agree with Stroker. When the yellow flag is out it should mean no jumping or passing until you are pass the crash or whatever reason the flag is out for. That way no one will misunderstand what the yellow flag means.

MrP- Remember the little kid flaggin at Swan on the camel back? He was just waving the yellow flag around for the fun of it, slowing everyone down until they disregarded him. Then there was a wreck and since nobody payed any attention to the little kid, another rider hit the fallen rider. I got a whole post about that in the C-dale forum. Stuff like that really p!sses me off.

This is my first year running the Nationals. Please tell me the next two Victory Sports races will not be as bad? As for yellow flags, I personally slow down for all flags, its not worth hurting myself or someone. As for the flagger, I thought the ones at Macon looked alot younger than the ones at London. How about a rule on the age limit of a flagger. Ha Ha
