I use the radials but I have been hearing a lot about the new holeshot MX fronts. From what I hear is that they are better than the radials and actually work in the mud too. About half the pros are using these tires this season. I haven't tried them yet.

if there is no better tire out there for MX, why are radials better? is it b/c they don't deflect in hard cornering?
i'd like a more technical explanation... i'm debating going that direction on the front later on & want to know more about it.

I am getting a set of these tires up front and am wondering how to get them the same heigth as my tires now.
Now i have stock 10X5.5 rim and 21-7-10 Bandits.
The radials are 19".
My question is...how can i make my radials the same height as my tires are now? Would 12X5.5 rims solve this?
I have 20" rear tires and dont want the front being lower then the front for obvious reasons. And no i do not want 18" rear tires!!:)
Any info would be appreciated!!
Thanks in advance :)

Actually, they DO make 12" radial front tires. Pro racer Nic Granlund uses them. They are MUCH taller than the 10" radials. My local quad shop, Quad Central, sells them. Check out their ad in Dirt Wheels.

If you are racing MX the best choice for front tires is radials. There is nothing better out there. And if you think there is I would like to hear why. As for what kind, since they have not been making rikens for probably two years now, I would go with the kumho radials. They are grooved much like the rikens where. And many places carry them. One I know for sure is K&K ATV.

My ?? is, what is the advantage to the taller radial. I LOVE my 19".

Your tires now are 21x7-10. That means 21" tall, 7 wide, 10" rim. The 19" tires are 19" tall, and fit your 10" rims. They do not make a 21" tall radial, nor one to fit a 12" rim.
What i don't understand is why you don't want the 18" rear tires, the fronts ARE MX radials, so i am assuming you ARE racing MX. The 18" rears are the hot ticket for motocross. If you aren't planning on racing MX, i would suggest not even getting the radial, get Holeshots, razrs, etc..
Hope this was helpful.
