use some of that red 600 degree high temp selant, at you local auto parts store, i have used it for exhaust, gaskets top end, anything it works great.

hey i bought a tri moto 175 a week ago and have just put new rings in it. It runs fine but there is a huge exhaust leak right where the muffler connects toi the engine. What could i do to seal this up. I have also been to my Yamaha dealer many times and he has just sold me junk that does not go in that spot.
So do you know what i could use,, currenty to make it quieter(but it is still really loud) i have shoved some snowmobile exhaust gaskets down there. AS of know i am still driving it but i am affraid to take it far because it is not liceneced and i dont want to get pulled over by the cops.
Any suggestions would be great
