Yes, the 185 and 200 carbs are identical other than the mainjet, pilot jet, and needle taper. You can use a carb kit for an ATC200 in a 185 carburetor. It is basically the same thing as adding a "Jet kit" when used on the ATC185 engine, and it should run fine because the 185 is jetted lean from the factory. (The 200 was as well)

The only cost effective carburetor on the market is the XR200R carb. It's 2mm larger, but you need the larger XR intake too and it will require mods to align your carb with the airboot to the airbox. The XR intake puts the carburetor in a "straight shot" direction to the center of the frame.

Bing,
The XR and XL 185 engines are the same as the XR200 engines with only the same variances that apply to the ATC185 and ATC200 engines.

Regarding the carburetor......that's a very interesting question. Those 185 bikes were pretty scarce back then and even more scarce today. I don't even know for sure if I've even looked at a 185 dirtbike carburetor up close to tell you anything for sure. I do know that the XR200 engines are the same as those that were used in the 185 bikes, other than the cylinderbore and piston, but I do not know which type of carbs were used on them.

are you just looking for a bigger jet???????? If you do I have a 108 I will send you for free, but I think your stock one is a 95....let me know if you want it.

Have you done any engine mods on it yet? Exaust pipe, cam, porting, or anything? To utilize a bigger jet or carb you need to do some other stuff first. Let us know all the stuff done to it and we will hook you up.

Wow Knowsalot......we replyed at the exact same time Little odd for you to be on at this time of day isn't????

I believe you can put a used 200x cam in it. If I sell this stupid laptop I am trying to get rid of, I am getting a different cam for mine and I will let you know on my old cam. Higher compression piston is another mod (that will total about $70 with everything) Exhaust is another mod(less that $100)
