In the south, BigRed 250s go for more than they did a few years back.

$800 for one that runs and looks fair.

$1500-$1800 for one that is clean and no damage.

I live up in maine, and the averge I see is about 700 for no piston. give or take a few 200$

probly not more than like 300 in my area.....dont know about near you, but theres a ton around...and besides...why would you want one with new plastics...it'd be a sin to scratch them up exploring impassible terrain....im doin the rebuild that youul have to do right now....its real easy once you get the motor out of the wheeler....(my v.c. didnt clear the frame over the studs)....if you buy it, i could probly reccomend a good machine shop that does work really cheap.....and i have an extra set of standard(65mm) rings that you could have....

my bad.....didnt see the 250....sorry my rings wont work...but the machine shop is good anyway...

how much do you think i could get for a 86 250 big red that needs piston rings that i will fix has pritty good tires on it ans has good plastics???
