I don't know, but it may be that your timing is off. It sounds like you are getting pleanty of fuel and spark but it may be sparking at the wrong time.

I have a 1984 Honda 200s, I noticed that the fuel might be running rich when there was gas in my exhaust. I looked and there was no float needle! It wouldn't stay idled but would run (bareley). I ordered a new rebuild kit, is that better than buying a new carb? Second qeustion. I was riding it and it died, I noticed that it was getting spark but not enough to fire in the chamber. I won't even fire when we tow it or push it to even try to start it. Do I have a bad coil somewhere? And back to the carb, would the carb problem make it jerk when i rode it and make it die when idled. It also kept the plugs filthy all the time. Please help!!!
Thank You

Thanks for the advise, i'll take it to the shop if thats the case, I don't have the tools for a timing problem. I was hoping it was the stator or another coil. But i'll see. Thanks again
