No spark could be a number of things. Since you probably had it out of the frame, double check all your wiring for good connections. I had a coil go out one time and it can easily be checked with an ohm meter. You can also test the alternator, cdi unit and pulse generator with an ohm meter. (You are checking for resistance) You can also double check your air gap on the pulse generator. It could also be as simple as a defective on/off switch, which can also be tested with the meter. If you have a service manual, it will give you all the specs you need for testing components. Hope this gives you a good start.

I just put a new bottom end on. it will not spark, is there suppose to be oil where the stator is at. If it is what could be my problem.
