The 250sx is a great bike but I have had problems with one of mine. If I had to take a bike through the desert with no other way back it would be the 1983 ATC110 I had years ago. I couldn't hurt that thing.

I would have to agree that the SX's are reliable but my 110 is the best ive seen, but thats probably because there is no moving suspension parts.

I have a 86 Big Red I bought new, have used it a lot and never had a single problem with it. I also had 1980 110 I bought new, but did have some maintenance on the chain, idler sprocket, wheel bearings, starter rope breaking, gas tank rusting out and leaking, but the engine was still running great and had never been rebuilt when I sold it in 1998.

the most realible one by far the 250sx cant kill them

1 250es
1 82 250r
1 185
1 200s training bike

All the non-SX 200~250s were hard to kill. The SX had higher compression and being a little more sporty folk were hard on them.

What do you think is the most reliable three wheeler from Honda. I think the 83 200 is quite relible, but which one do you think is the most bulletproof one?

Why are they so reliable? I know they don't have a suspension, is that why? Would a 1984 big red 200 be close behind it?

Well i'm not sure but we have an 84' 200M and it's pretty tuff.. it had no fenders, no light, stock tires etc, we hit like 4 tree's with it.. rolled it so many times you cant count, After 8 years she's finnally gave up.. clutch went out, and i think i should rebuild it.

ATC 70/90/110.
I still have my first ATC 70 I got in '82 and it still runs great. It is the original top end and we recently but a K&N on it, made a new supertrapp exhaust and advanced the timing . Now it's the perfect camp bike for us 200 pounders to goof around on. No less than 7 kids cut their teeth riding this thing and it doesn't see any signs of slowing down.

I don't know, I'd like to find one to fix up though.

110. had one sitting up for years. decided to mess with it one day. put a half cup of gas in it, pulled the starter - it started within the first 3 pulls and ran smooth! Honda rules!

70

i rode an '83 suzuki ALT 125 new until 2001. never had a problem. as far as hondas go, my 185s always seemed to start and run better than my 185.

the 250 big red is THE most reliable ATV ever made. I've taken that old threewheeler to hell and back TRYING to blow the engine. I used it all the time until i got a 400ex. MY 250 is an '86 and it was running still until about 6 months ago. Don't ever stop using an old bike that or it will go fast...you have to keep it running ar it will never start again. Mine is actaully for sale...it needs some work but those bikes sure are ligth and easy to drive in mud and water. I've put mine in water over the back rack and you just have to let the front walk up and stay on the throttle and it will float across anything!!!!! If you have an old bike that and your not going to use it clean it properly and put it away. make sure it runs and its in good shape or it will have serious trouble if you just park it in the weeds

The 83' 200E big red is the most reliable to me. I had the idle screw out of the carb and it ran! this thing is indestructable. The old four stroke 3 wheelers are nearly inmpossible to kill. and i've tried...
