As most of you know, I have purchased a 20 mm carb for my 90. I used the stock intake boot and need to build a spacer for between the reeds and boot. Does anyone have a spacer that they are useing or any good ideas for machining one?

Would this spacer help the air fuel mix?
Is this a good idea or bad?
I measured about 3/4 inch thick. This will allow the bowl to clear the cyl shroud.
Should I buy a racing intake instead?

Any knowledge or advise will greatly be accepted. I have one machined to fit and getting ready to install. I would like some more info from you racers and performance people.

Thanks

C'mon guys!! Where are all my performance guru's? I always thought that these spacers went between the reed cage and the cyl. Is this correct? All I'm tryin to accomplish is clearance on the carb bowl to the cyl shroud.

I rode my arctic cat 90 today with the carb spacer. Awesome. It will carry the front wheels now. It runs 100 times better with the 20mm carb and spacer installed.

If anyone is interested in a carb spacer let me know. I will take some pics and get you a price. I will do all of the machine work my self. No out of house so no long waits. Get me your emails if your interested.
