My sons 2006 Honda TRX90 use to do that to and I got sick of it running like crap. I know it may be a pain, But adjust the mixture screw and then readjust the idle it should run like a top after that.

it sounds like it's just the idle needs adjusted.

Hello, it definitely sounds like a problem with the carb. I think a lot of the Chinese atv's come with some kind of gel inside the carb that is supposed to be dissolved by gas during the initial break in period. I would just remove and clean the carb very well. Use a paper clip or some very thin wire to stick in all of the openings and use compressed air if you have it to blow through the holes. Be careful not to press too hard with whatever you're using to clean. The carb removal should'nt take more than a couple of minutes. It's just the 2 bolts for the intake, unsrew the throttle slide, remove choke cable and that's it. Just remember how the slide came out, so that you put it back in the same way. Also, install a fuel shutoff valve if it does'nt have one already, it will prevent spilling gas when having to clean carb. I'm going by what my 110 looks like, your's should'nt be too different.

I bought a new grizzly 80 for my son. We have been out on it a few times but, now it is difficult to start and dies when he stops unless he keeps the throtle going or reaches the choke in time.
Is this just and idle adjustment or is there something else going on? We turn the gas lines off everytime we aren't riding and run the gas out if we store it for any length of time. He is pretty good at keeping it going but it is brand new and we shouldn't have to have him do that.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
