TORCO GP-7. The best oil ever!
Torcousa.com

Since 1996. There was a Torco dealer at the nationals. Got me hooked, especially after tearing a motor down. Since then I have had motors sent to me with countless hours on them and the internal parts had little to no wear. It impresses me everytime I get a motor in that has used it.

79hugger:: GP-7 is labeled as a smokeless oil but I think they all smoke some.

I used to run 927 (it's a bean oil) till I found the torco.
If you run in cold weather, the 927 separates.

79hugger: like I mentioned:: Torcousa.com They will send ya oil.
Klotz R-50 is 2nd on my list.

Welcome to the forum 79hugger!

you want to use a high grade synthetic oil. have been using Torco GP-7 in all my 2 strokes since 1980. But.....If you hav'nt had a problem with the BelRay, I would keep using it.

How long have you been using GP-7 LT80?

Thanks for the reply LT80. I have had the same experiences during tear down and as a bonus have never fouled a plug while using Torco GP-7.

I noticed our Eton Viper 70 owner manual states to use high grade synthetic 2 cycle oil in it as well as all the 2 strokes atv's they produce, is there a reason they recommend it? When we purchased it at Honda last year the serviceman gave us Bel Ray S2 2 stroke oil, the tank is getting pretty low and I need to buy some more, should I go back with synthetic as recommended?

Thanks for the reply, I may give the synthetic a try, it's got to be better on the cylinder walls. By the way does the synthetic smoke less.I have always owned 4 strokes and this is our first 2 stroke

I tried to locate some Torco through all the local cycle shops with zero luck, I contacted eton and the said it was recommended to use full synthetic injector 2 cycle and to discontinue the Belray oil my dealer gave me. All the cycle shops I called had no synthetic injector oil except the Polaris dealer which I may try because we are going on a family ride Sunday and we are out.I did wonder into autozone and looked at Mobil1 racing t2 full synthetic 2 cycle, the bottle mentioned premix but not injection but the belray oil bottle reads that it can be used for both, what's the difference anyway?
