A good belt should easily last over a year. The problem is that most of the OEM Chinese belts are cheaply made with bad rubber. A Gates Powerlink or Comet 203581A will last a long time.

Does anyone know how long the belts normally last? Mines about a year old and I'm wondering if I should have a spare belt on hand already. I'm thinking of getting one of those kevlar belts so it lasts a while...

Has anyone tried to get more air in their cvt, to cool belt and clutch. There is only a little round foam filter on the front of mine right on the cvt cover. If anyone has tried to get more air in can you give me a idea on how you did it.
