I think Polaris makes em.
The new kaws and arctic cat use Kymco's.
The Kymco is a fine machine IMO.

Polaris does NOT make the 50 and 90cc 2 stroke quads. Im not sure what company does it but they make the same quads for Unison, extreme, GPX, Eton, Yerf Dog and a few others. If you want to save some cash and get the same quad look at the Unison Desert Cat 90. Raceway atv sells them and they are alot cheaper than Polaris. The desert cat is like the Polaris Predator. Just as good in every way but different name and some minor details are different. Check them out. You cant find a better quad for the price and they are not made in China.

I believe Aeon makes Polaris.

I do not believe this is correct.I can say for certain the Polaris and Eton are not made by the same company..These cvt quads look very similar but there are many differences when you start to look closely or swap parts between them.

The big four stick to regulations that restrict what they may have on or in their atv, that is why none of the big four have lights(someone thinks they will be encouraged to ride at night). Also the big four switched to four stroke cause of regulations/pressure and the twain companies who make these quads will still pump out the old design and market under another name even if the big four choses to not put their name on them.

The desert cat has features unavailable on the Arctic Cat, BRP, Polaris, Kawasaki's, ect..

Suzuki and Honda are the only ones who chose to make their own designs...... but they are also limited with regulation....

The desert cat is also available with reverse..........just cause the new Polaris is a 4 stroke doesn't mean they built it

My daughter has a 02' polaris 90 scrambler and now my son wants one too. Well, I heard that polaris doesn't actually make this atv and it is made by someone else and they throw their stickers on it . Does anyone know who actually makes this atv for polaris ? I was just wondering if I am paying extra for the name ? And could get the same atv for leser of a price under a different name ?
Thanks,
D.

Squeege, I'm not sure where the '07's are made. I had thought that at least some of them were made in-house, because that is what the Polaris design engineer told me what I saw him at the Fall Snowmoble/ATV show, but others on this forum have suggested Taiwan (which would probably be better!)

Does anyone know for SURE about the '07 models? They do seem to have a lot of new features, perhaps in response to companies like Eton who in my view make the most kid-friendly small ATV's. (For example, Eton used Hydraulic rear brakes that are relatively easy for little hads to squeeze, whereas the '07 Polaris Sportsman 90, an otherwise great looking bike, uses mechanical brakes front and rear.)
