Give Rob Lenard a call at www.robbsracingengines.com. He has everything for the Honda. He can get 17 HP out of the Honda trx 90. He takes it to a 125. He has the best pipe for the Honda. He is the best with the Honda trx 90!!
I got Michael 1 for Christmas last year when he was 7. It has had the guts run out of it fpr a year and it's not given us a problem.
It was raced this year in some limited class races in the D-5 XC series and he was never beaten on it yet. It has plenty of power. The Honda is the best mini on the planet.

They are good quads. Solidly built, it is something that can be passed down to the family over the years if properly cared for. There is a decent selection of hop-up parts available also, you can get a 125 kit for it, exhaust, wheels/tires, all the goodies basically. They don't have a lot of the safety features of newer designs, but then again I'm not sure most kids need them after they get some decent saddle time.

While I have never dealt with this guy personally, I have seen some good things written about his TRX enginesclicky Here is another click2
You might want to look at some of the other mini racing shops like wrh. There is at least one more real popular one, but the name escapes me at the moment.

I bought my son an 06 TRX 90 back last October and he has pretty much mastered the machine as far as shifting and riding in general.
Like posted above, it's a solid, well built machine and although it lacks a drive shaft, remote kill, lights and even reverse, it was money well spent on my part. The only maintenance, other than oil changes, I have done is adjust the brakes and chain. It's cold natured but runs great once warmed up.
He will drive it until he's ready to move up to a 250 and then we will hang on to the 90 as I have a couple of grand daughters that will ride it one day.

The TRX 90 has the aftermarket support, local support, Honda engineering and best of all longivity. I'm 6'2" and 245, and I rode one up pretty good hills. Great quad and you never can go wrong with it. SEADAWG

i just bought a 07trx 90 for my son who is 7. he loves it. we have a fully auto sunl90 that will not go in the sand, has the power but tires are to small. we took the trx out to the dunes last week with stock tires and it went really well. he got stuck a few times. he doesnt have the shifting down yet. for the sand you have to keep the rpm's up and in the right gear. its really cold natured has to warm up about 10 minutes. i think it needs to be rejetted a little differant. ill get to it one of these days

try www.icracing.com they have performance parts for the 90. ive never dealt with them but im sure they have something. they have a number you can call. just go to youre local dealer and tell them what size you need and they will get it for you. they have all the parts catalogs. probably $5.00 a piece get two or three differant sizes. since youre going to buy a pipe youll probably need to go up a size or two. and youll probably want a higher flowing air filter to go with it to get the maximum power from the pipe. jetting isnt that hard it just takes a little time. what works for one bike might not work for another identical bike. by ordering more than one size you wont be sitting around waiting for something to be shipped incase the one you ordered isnt right..

also try www.dratv.com they have jets. remember that there is two differant types of numbers for jets i think. dynojet has differant numbers than the keihen jets. you wont know which one untill you take the jet out and look at the number. if im wrong here please someone let me know. im new to this stuff also, or maybe someone can explain it a little better than me.

Thank's Guys!!!!!!... I really love my trx90 but its hard finding good aftermarket parts for it, likethat 125cc kit, where whould i find that, and my stock rims are a little to hevy for that bike, its holding some power back, and im tanking about putting the TRX300 shocks on it, its a pretty good kit with a good deal, i orderd the Big Gun EvO Mini Series, but there all out of stock on EVRY place i went so im jest gonna have to wait, but if you can tell me where the 125cc upgrade is at, i will be happy, thanks!!!
