John,
I am looking at opening up a dealership VERY SOON here in Michigan. I am doing the leg work with the bank as we speak.A low price is not allways everything. If you cant get support/help/parts/than price means NOTHING in the end!Your reputation for support is second to none. I will be calling you this week.

John @ Raceway and Eugene @Jetmoto

It is a great thing what you two are doing as partners. Everyone that is looking for an inexpensive reliable quad, needs a company that is dedicated to a good product and great service at a low price. I know JetMoto started off rough but when I talked to John and he said he was going to start carrying Jetmoto and could not say enough good about the product. I trust John in what he believes in and he has steered me away from certain quads and pointed me to other ones that he thinks is better even though he carries both. I have been very happy with just about everything I have bought from him. I have spent thousands on quads from him and do not regret it. I did buy a JM150 from Raceway and did have problems with the unit. He sent me a new one and the problems that I had were addressed on the new models. Hopefully I can get a chance to get a 07 JM to see how much they have changed. I truely believe that JetMoto will be up there with Kymco and some other small names. They will be the leading manufacturer of chinese quads and hopefully they are so good that they put other cheap chinese brands out of business. Anyone can find a cheap chinese brand and put thier name on it but not anyone can actually make a quality chinese quad and expect to compete. Once Jetmoto is the leading chinese brand quad all the other cheapos cant compete and will fade away. Good for Jetmoto bad for the rest of the chinese rip offs.

John you will always have my support and will send anyone I can your way. That is just my way helping you because you have always helped me.

Eugene, Although I have never spoken to you or had the pleasure to meet you like MWQ I believe you are doing the right thing and will continue to be successful. I have talked to MWQ about some issues that needed to be fixed on the 150 and as far as I know you have done just that and then some. Thats what a good company is all about. Listening to the consumer and improveing the product from the consumer standpoint. I wish I had the facility to sell quads because Jetmoto would be my main brand. Keep up the good work and maybe I will have to upgrade my old JetMoto150 to a new one.

Superbombman,

You cant rely on emails. They get sooo many emails that it is almost impossible for them to get to them all. Call John and I cna tell you that he will be there or he will get back to you but as for email good luck!

If you follow the forums, you'd know that Raceway and John probably have the best reputation of any of the China imports dealers I've ever seen.

As for support, sure Kymco advertises here, but I haven't seen any other companies made themselves available in an open forum as Raceway has.

smb05, I am pretty sure the '07 lineup will be good to go by mid January. The 150/200 and 250 will share the same frame as the 250 sport quad with all the changes i asked for.

I also saw a 200 dirt bike with a aluminum frame. Its like the current dirt bike and has the 15/17 wheel combo. Id like to see the same thing with full size tires on it.

So my question is, will we see some similar attention to the utility vehicles as is now being paid to the sport quads?

Thanks

That was the '06 model the '07 Utility quad has a different rearend on it and has lots of improvements compared to the '06 model.

Im assuming you want info on the new rear end not the old one. but just incase.....The rear end on last years model had the reverse in it and was a open differential (just like a passenger car).

The new rear end is more conventional and the reverse is not in the rear end its mounted on the engine.

Is that answer your question?

I hope one day we can win you over! Jetmoto USA is and will soon prove to be the best Chinese ATV on the market by far! Along with support and warranty. If you just take a look at what has happened in less then a years time it truly is amazing! As fas as Kymco I agree great unit great support, but keep in mind the type of money put behind that company and it's manufacturing. We are small time guys making a big time mark! We are doing this by working hard and investing everything we have in what we believe in. (Along with my 13 hours a day of support!) Sometimes it's just hard to swallow a post like yours "you get whatt you pay for i'am not buying the jetmoto thing just yet" when you have no idea of the time and work we put in on the daily basis. Researching travailing and money.

I guess it is much easier to sit behind a computer and push buttons then it is to dedicate your life and money to something you truly believe in. Keep in mind our goal is not to be the next Honda, it is to bring the best quality and AFFORDABLE unit we can from overseas. I guess you have never been to Taiwan??? You should do a little more research before commenting. If you have the money you can fly to Twain tomorrow and buy a better unit then any product Kymco has to offer. But who would buy a superbombman ATV for $4800.00 even if you could prove it was better then a Kymco product? Again please don't forget what our goals is here, it is to bring a great unit for a great price! It's not to bring a $5000.00 machine here from Taiwan to collect dust!

Thanks for the post Scootergptx!

Feel free to reply to the post! I am very educated in the field and I have no plans tonight so we can talk all about it.

Just take a look at the "Sunl Sucks" thread, here is a million dollar company (or even more!) Big big money maybe people out there just really dont know the money over there, and they can't get it right. I don't have a 1/4 (I wish a 1/4) of what that companies has, but ya know what money cannot buy what we are trying to do! Hard dedicated work 15 hours a day 7 days a week! Waiting on every customer hand and foot one by one! This is a reputation that is build like a rock! You can't buy that, remember that!

Posted by: RacewayATV

ck500 thanks for the post. I am sure Jetmoto would love to help you out with them ATV's. Sometimes it's better to give a call then an email. I know that we get back to people via email pretty fast but some may concentrate on the phones harder. I am sure if you were to call them you would get an answer right away. Hope this helps.

I will try to answer your question as best as I can without giving up to much information of Eugene's knowing that other importers and competitors read these forums just to gather information!

1. How I am involved with the product development it very simple. Eugene from Jetmoto deals privately with a manufacturing company in China. He is also just about one of the only importers that I know that visit he's factory to check and change things every 60 to 90 days. Myself and other like mywifesquad, 2manytoys (and many others will not list them all) have rode and test these units a all year when a deal with Jetmoto was put in place. Over this period of time from test and riding we have suggested many changes to be done to each unit to make it a better quality unit. And each change has been made by Eugene and other are still being worked on. I have very high qualified friends in the industry, from a performance stand point and frame builders (and so does Eugene) and they have been working with us over time on each unit and I am sure the 2007 units will show the difference.

2. Am I an importer? Yes I am when in comes to certain products. (Will not name) I work hand and hand with Eugene from Jetmoto. Do I actually call China myself and order a product? No but Eugene handles that for me! Since he is in China and Twain so frequently.

3. Yes, it is my goal to be leading supplier in the United States for this product. I think I explained that in my last post.

4. Yes, this product is a private label manufactured item. The factory that builds for Jetmoto only builds for them!

5. Our input has all the impact on the manufacturing. This is the difference with Jetmoto. From day one dealing with Jetmoto myself and others have test and asked for certain changes and they were done on the next shipments, Eugene him self has been amazing. He has been way ahead of things and has been doing and finding things I would not even think were possible. He has been in Twain working with certain companies to supply us with parts from the Jetmoto units. Taiwan as most of you know out there has some amazing and very high quality stuff!

6. The type of testing we do I think is the best. Hands on testing. Just ride the units under very hard stress for weeks at a time. I have a few riders I sponsor close to the store in English Town (And if any are out there reading I am willing to sponsor more from English Town/ Raceway Park) These kids and guys can destroy just about anything, and they have. We take there input and redesign the failures. The factory it self does standard testing as far as metals and that nature and so does Eugene, our job here in the U.S is to make the units run and perform better!

7. Eugene is very very happy with his manufacturer. I do not see us going to anyone else at this time.

8. We are 100% covered in the liability area.

9. Product support is something I have been working on from day one. I cannot do anything about Kazuma other others. They must run there own company But if you buy a product from me you know the support with be there. As far as a Jetmoto USA product 1000%! There has been nothing but product support. Anyone that deals a Jetmoto product must give support or there dealership with us will be terminated.

superbombman
No harm done. Trust me I love this forum and I love to talk! No problem I wish you luck with your new place! And if anything give them a call at Jetmoto they are faster with the phones then they are with the emails.

SEADAWG
My man Seadawg don't worry I did not forget you. I have to wait till the 2007 stuff comes out for you. I cant send you something that is not 100%! A man like yourself can only test something after I know you will love it.

I would love to be a believer and I want to believe in the little guys. It's hard, I'm sure with all the negativity surrounding the chinese quads. I tell you what overcomes that is customer support. Raceway ATV is a prime example of that. They respond immediately to customers and help them out even if they didn't sell them the product. I also realize this is hard because it takes people on the payroll that can respond to emails and provide this supprt and not just $5.50 an hour people but people who really know your quads. I want to believe so make us...

On that note.. I emailed JETMOTO USA a couple of months ago inquiring about the 50CC quads. I got no response at all. I am interested in purchasing (2) 50CC or 70CC quads for my twin daughters but don't want the cheesy 16" tires. Any way around this?

Hopefully I can get some of your time so that you can make 2 customers very happy and possibly customers for life as they grow older.

Jetmoto, Raceway,

Do you have a release date on your new product line yet? Also when do you think Pics will be available for the general public to start viewing? Inquiring minds want to know. The pics I'm interested in would be for the 150 and 250 models.

What are the CARB Executive Order Numbers issued to Jetmoto for the Quads and Dirt bikes so far? I see the smaller quads and dirt bike certs will be ready on DEC 15.

Did the new 200cc and 250cc dirt bikes come in yet? Are there any new pics of the bike posted yet?

Also will the entire product line be coming out of the same factory?

The new product line sounds promising. It sounds like there are alot of new improvements and upgrades in the works. BR>
Sorry for all the questions, I'm sure others may be interested too.

Thanks for any info. I know you may not be able to answer all of my questions. However, any information will be appreciated.

SB.

Raceway,
You know I love you guys and that I'm a fan of yours ...you stick to your guns. I wish you luck on this new model, but SEADAWG needs to tear one up before I give it the thumbs up, sorry! You need to let us sceptics beat them up, if they hold up, you will not be able to keep them on your shelves. If, not, just another heap waiting for the landfill. See, when you advertise you have been to China 7 times and made all these improvements...we on this end say let me see or prove it. I still love you guys. SEADAWG

Raceway has set the bar of service...walking the walk even under difficult situations or poor manufacturing. Just know most others ran for the hills and didn't stand by their products. I like Raceway because when I bought mine and my company ran for the hills (almostfreeatv), John helped me and go me through some issues. He could have easily said that is not my problem, I don't care and etc. They get it done. In saying that, I want them to have a product that is as good as there service. If Jetmoto is good and ready...I want to see. I'm retiring from the Navy in May and if they are good, I just may have to buy me a dealership...or call me Raceway ATV, Indiana Detachment John come on out here and lets beat them together! SEADAWG

Don't mean to rain on a parade and all this lovefest

Posted by: SEADAWG

Dear Everyone,
I hate to stir the pot...but I don't care about specs, pictures, prices ant etc. When you going to bring them out here and test them up? I would like to really give them a thumbs up. You may not want SEADAWG to beat it up, so I'll let you ride one next to me...we'll go out for the day...let's just call it a day of luxury Sorry. SEADAWG

Posted by: SEADAWG

John,
I love you guys...but I can't be in any certain camps. I must stay independent, but you guys rock. Keep up the customer service, I'm worried you guys are growing and not going to be able to maintain you reputation??? SEADAWG

I too am working to set up a dealership in my area. I'm encouraged and excited about the new Jetmoto sports quads and hope to sell many if they are good. Based on my experience with Raceway, I'd really like get all of my product from them. However, in my area people want utility machines. My understanding is that the Jetmoto utility quads have a differential which applies power to the wheel without traction. (Please correct me if I am wrong). This is not a setup that I feel comfortable selling to guys who are going to be running through pastures, mud, wooded and hilly ground. So my question is, will we see some similar attention to the utility vehicles as is now being paid to the sport quads?

Thanks

Thanks! Can you expound a little on that rear end?

Posted by: M104

Yes! Perfect.

Thanks!

Once they show dealer supprot and warr. like kymco has than i might look at carring them. I'am sure they are a good little quad but kymco does alot more advertising here in the u.s and is a true oem manuf. you get whatt you pay for i'am not buying the jetmoto thing just yet

Posted by: superbombman

The only thing i said bad about jetmoto was qoute: you get whatt you pay for i'am not buying the jetmoto thing just yet. YET YET i'am sorry thats the only thing i said bad sorry and to let you now i've sent two emails to jetmoto on becoming a dealer a while back no response. And you go on raving about all the time you spend in a day and this and that and even saying how easy it is to just sit there and type well 2 years this month we just put up a 650,000 dollers new shop can you say stress and we are just in a royal area. So trust me i spend alot of hours selling accessories and bike's during the day and wrench on them at night when it's quite. And for traveling over to tawain actully thats where i would like to go to learn more about the country alot of good stuff comes out of there i do believe with the big oem's it's alot to do with marketing which kymco is really starting to do which helps us dealers sell there product a good product at that i read alot of magz.'s and read alot and see alot on the web to be honest i havent seen nothing about jetmoto but only here please dont think i'am deasing them like i said in my first post i'am sure there a great quad, And i hope your going to continue your path to make jetmoto come to the top as years come

Well it is nice to see someone else traveling abroad. Not to inflame you but, I have several questions to ask regarding your involvement with this product development. I do in fact have extensive experience abroad dealing with asian manufacturing companies.

I am confused as to how you became involved in this product development. Are you an Importer? Is it your goal to be the leading supplier in the United States for this product? Is this product a private label manufactured item? How much impact does your information have in the manufacturing process? How soon are items implemented? What type of testing has been done to this product, and under what conditions?

Have you tried to take your design or engineering changes to another manufacturer? What is your limit of liability regarding the specific engineering changes that you suggest? Are you establishing a dealer network with product support?

I apologize for all the questions, please don't take my curiosity wrong. I love to see anyone dedicate themselves to something, it is disappointing that you are not able to find an american company to build the product for you.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the response to my questions, I appreciate it! Who owns the "jetmoto" name? Overseas or US?

Posted by: dirty4play

John @ Raceway & Eugene@JetMoto

I've spoken to both of these fine gentlemen regarding the JetMoto product line. I was looking for a solid machine with good backing that would fit in an affordable price range. That is exactly what I've gotten! Raceway has done a wonderful job in supporting us with warranty parts and advice as we build our dealership here in Illinois. JetMoto (Eugene) gladly took my phone call and spent quite some time discussing the 125 model and it's development path.

We recently had a couple come for a "look" at the JetMoto 125 model. We had spoken briefly on the phone beforehand and we directed them to ours, Raceway's and JetMoto's web sites for more information before stopping by for a look. The gentlemen did his research and and was even more impressed when he saw the JetMoto 125 in person. They purchased (2) JetMoto 125's on the spot.

It's a pleasure to talk to Raceway everytime I place an order or have a question.

Looking forward to the 250 Sport Model's arrival and spreading the JetMoto name with pride in an excellent product!

I will second that. I hope they make it for reasons of money to the end user. My wifes brother has two great little girls and next year will be getting little quads to starting them riding and it sure would be a great thing to be able to buy a inexpensive quad for them. I know I can go buy a yamaha raptor 125 and spend a ton of money or other bikes that have been around for a long time but it all gets back to the money and after sales support and I sure wish them well.
I am all for this and I will thank them for saving me money and supplying a great product with super support.
IMHO
