I just got a Roketa mini 90 from Raceway and the suspension is very plush. The shocks look exactly like the SunL Delux 100. You may want to call and talk to John at Raceway about these shocks. I was very impressed with the suspension on the 90.

On another forum, I remember reading about a guy who installed a DS-90 rear shock on his E-Ton 90. Or was that an E-Ton 90 on his DS-90 brand??? Regardless, he found a "pure stock" replacement from a different brand and it worked great for him. And, he got 2" more rear suspension depth as well.

That would be the Viper 90 shock on the DS.The little DS is as stiff as a rock.Look for space between the coils of the spring.The closer together the coils the stiffer the spring will be.Wide spaces between the coils will mean its much softer and will have more travel before the coils bind.

As a suggestion, take your tape measure and measure the existing Coil Over shock system. Length from eye/eye, total length, spring length and even "bolt hole" sizes. Yes, you may have to remove the shock to obtain exact measurements.
Visit many mini-ATV showrooms and compare. Compare your current mini to the exact same brand/model. And compared to other brands of minis that have the same shock size. Sit on their seats and "try them out" If your factory shock "is shot", then you have an excellent comparison to lobby for a warranty replacement. If the exact same brand/model has the same "feel" (yes, even on a show room floor), then your suspension is normal. Normal meaning its suppose to be that way - for that exact model. If you find a suspension that "feels" something that like like, compare your detailed measurements to its coil over shocks. If its the same size but has much better valving and/or much better spring, then you may want to purchase that coil over shock from that other brand. Sometimes, you can get lucky and find an expensive "stock" replacement. Inexpensive meaning you don't have to replace with a very expensive High Performance shock - like Works or other brands.

Other than changing out the shocks the only thing I can think of is tire pressure. As low as possible, 1.5-2.0 psi per tire. As for shocks, there were a lot of people with 04 Yamoto 150's getting front shocks off of a suzuki LT 160. I dont think anyone had a direct replacement for the rear.

I bought a Sunl 110 for my son. He complained that it is very rough riding and he has a good complaint. When I sit on the atv the back shock has no give to it. The atv doesn't squat at all. I have made all the adjustments to my knowledge, but I am getting nothing. Any ideas or tricks to this? I don't want to spend as much for an upgraded suspension as I did on the atv. This thing rattles MY teeth when I ride it!

When I stopped at the dealer last night, I found all the others he had were the same. His response was hmmm, I don't know what to tell you! Thanks for taking time to help me out. When I get home from vacation I'll get into this project a little deeper.
