To start with did you change the oil when you bought them? When they went mudding did they maybe suck up some water into the intake? What does the oil look like? Did you try to push start it?

tmarie,
You say you can hear the starter spin but does not turn the motor right? SOunds like the starter chain may have broke or came off. You have to remove the left cover on the motor and you can see the chain and starter gear. This way you can see what it is not doing. You can remove the cover by removing 5 bolts then just pull out on the cover.

first are you saying the sarter is turning over but isn't engaging the engine, or is the engine tuning over and not starting?

did you buy these from a local dealer or off e-bay? if you purchased from a local dealer i'd recommed taking it back under warrenty, it pays for parts only, not labor, should take about an hour to fix, if you purchased off of e-bay then you're going to hafta fix it yourself, PM me your e-mail address and i'll sent you the diagram of the engine and tell you what you need to do to fix it

tmarie, e-mailed you the engine manual this morning, let me know if you received it.

my son drove our kazuma 110cc into a deep puddle and we ended up with something very similar to what you describe. i disconnected all the wiring harnesses and let it dry for a few days, but that didn't fix the problem.
i ended up taking the machine to a local repair guy for a fix. it turns out that the gears in the starter thingy (the technical term, no doubt - but the silver gizmo that looks about the size of a soda can on the motor) had gotten stuck. he gave it a few whacks with a ball-peen hammer and low and behold, it started right and we haven't had a problem since.

Hi. We just bought our 2 boys each a kazuma falcon 110. Not had them 3 weeks yet. They have both been running fine until the other day. My youngest son go done riding his and when i tried to start it a few hours later to lock it up for the day, it would not start. The starter spins, but it is not firing at all. All you hear is just a spinning noise of the starter. Any advice??? Anyone had this problem???
Thank you in in advance for any advice given!

HI and thank you for your reply. Yes. The starter is turning over, but is not engaging the engine. The engine will not turn over at all. It was running fine until they were mudding one day and he go stuck and had to be pulled out and about an hour later when he was done riding he turned it off. Then a few hours later I went to lock them up for the night and it would not start. All l hear is the starter. No engine sounds at all. Just curious if this is common problem people have with the kazuma falcon 110's.
Thanks again for your reply.....as my 8 year old is having a fit to ride again.
Thanks,
Tina

I didn't buy from a local dealer. We bought them in Houston Texas on Harwin Drive. It's a place where there are all kinds of shops....kind of like a huge shopping strip prbably about a mile or so long. They were brand new still crated. I assume they didn't come with a warranty since they were not from a dealer.
My email address is tmarie68@hotmail.com
I sure appreciate any and all information you can give meBR>
My husbands unle bought his 2 gandsons at the sameplace and they haven't had any problems from theirs. They are cheap in price. We only gave 650.00 each for them. I assume if we had bought them from a dealer it would have cost more.
Thanks for your help. I will look for your email.
Have a great day.

The chain spins both gears but does not engage the motor

yes i had that problem! first try putting it gear and then push it just a little bit, if that does not work ,you need new starter. if you just got them , carey it back to the seller, it should be under warannty for 6 months
