I would'nt purchase anything again from High RPM Racer. I bought a 70cc from these guys 4 months ago,and the handlebar hold down clamp, and chain gaurd are missing. At least 20 documented phone calls and a few promises, and I still dont have either.
John at Raceway is a little higer priced, but you can count on customer service when you need it.

Sorry for your daughter, but I hope folks can learn something positive from your experience. Stick with the time tested Honda 90 and Suzuki LT80!

You or your husband need to pull the spark plug out. After the plug is out see if the starter turns the engine over.
One more thing: make her cousins share until you get her quad running. img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

Can you just try jumping it off a machine with the same power battery and if the starter is stuck try tapping it with something, used to work for our jeep every so often it might stick.

Check all the basics and make sure the electrical connectors are all plugged in tightly. Also, if the ATV has the teather rear strap/ kill switch, it may have came loose and may need to be bipassed or fitted properly.
Sorry about the little ones fun machine.
ChinaRider69 good advice.
Where are you located in WVa, I am in Clarksburg. If it is not too far to drive I can take a look at it for you.
Email me at hotrodd440@aol.com if I can help you.

Don't throw it out yet. It may be something simple, so have someone else look at it. Good luck though, I have a Yamoto and wouldn't do it again.

Check the starter relay also. If that doesn't release then the starter motor will run until it either runs the battery down and/or locks the motor up and the actual starter motor itself burns up. I have seen that happen on cars and trucks.

Happydad, contact me. I should be recieving my repaired parts from HighRpmracer in todays mail and a check from them to cover my shipping costs later this week. When I do, I will be posting the 4 phone numbers that I had to call to get HighRpmracer to contact me. I contacted both consumer and Federal agencies. I had a call from HRpm within 5 hours of my last call and they have followed up with 3 e-mails too. Too bad I had to take this action, but it is their fault.

What about the 2nd line which reads "any part except for tires, batteries, starters, brakes and body parts"?

does anyone know how you could tell if the motor is locked up
Posted by: clgrant
Hello folks this is MrGrant. Let me start of by thanking you for the helpful replies. #1, this machine never ran right from the start and was missing pieces . #2 Quality is questionable however probably worth what we paid had it actually run right. I wouldnt pay suggested retail though. #3, 24 hour help desk, lol. Thats funny. Unable to reach anyone at all since Monday morning, including all day today. Im going to sum this one up as a loss, and Im quite disapointed in the lack of customer support displayed by HighRPMRacer and can no longer recommend them to anyone.
I would expect to maybe do some minor adjustments like brake adjustment or carb adjustment but to have to rebuild the carb from day one because of an improper float level is a bad way to start off. Attempting to reach the choke lever by removing the side cover is risky. The entire side portion of plastic covering the gas tank litterally shattered into pieces when the side cover was removed. The seat wont latch correctly and the decals were not cut correctly and to be honest were nothing like indicated in the photos of the machine. The starter is now locked up, and possibly the engine as well, though Im not going to attempt taking it apart because something else may break off in the process and I want as little pieces possible when I put this machine in the pile for trash pickup. HRPMR, thanks for nothing. And be assured I will be in contact with you. Merry Christmas everyone.

These machines are not legally sold to youths under the age of 12. So thank you for a completely unneeded and useless reply that helped nothing at all.
