We have a hood for both of our LT's. It is a Maier, not sure if it is the one from JL though.
Ours works good for the kids, I have not complaints and would recommend getting one.

Wiring is very simple.
One hot wire, and one ground wire grounded to one of the mounting bolts.
Then there is a hi/lo on/off switch on the side.
Only take a couple minutes at most to get 'er up and going.

Has anyone used the LT80 light/hood combo from JL atv Products, its made by Maier? If so is it a easy hook up and how good is the light.
