hmm, that rubber thing BR>It makes the fuel go thru the lil hole in the bottom of the bowl. I think it's so the motor don't starve of fuel, but It never starves for fuel, so go figure. BR>I remove that piece and run w/o it.

It's gone. it's a plastic or brass piece that goes above that spring to limit the travel.

black boot.. I know what you're talkin bout but I don't know what it does.

yes, exhaust restrictor is on pipe at spot where it bolts onto exhaust port. there is a washer with a small hole in it. remove it. don't confuse it with the larger metal washer that's pretty think and roughly the same diamter as pipe; that's the gasket.

on throttle body on top of carb, there is a restrictor. it limits how far throttle body can go. it's a metal spacer type thing. unscrew throttle body from top of carb and remove.

Can anyone tell me what the black rubber cover is around the main jet in the carb?

Also are the only restrictors on the LT80 in the exhaust pipe and the top of the carb apart from the thumb throttle limiter?

I took it out to and am sure it is a little quicker....maybe just me though!!

I am trying to locate (or see if it has been removed) the carb restrictor. I unscrewed the throttle cable from the top of the carb and I am still not clear what I should be looking for. What I see is a spring wrapped around the throtle cable that is attached to (what looks like) a washer that sits inside a tube with a slit up the side so you can remove. The needle has 5 notches with a spring clip washer.... I bought this bike used so I am not sure if it has been removed. I removed the exhaust and did not find any thing there so I am assuming someone might have already removed the carb restrictor.

Thanks
