Excellent!!! Your kid(s) can start riding again.

In case others need to hot wire their E-Ton (re: lost their key on the trail, etc. etc.), can you tell us more details??? I'm sure many E-Ton owners would want to save your provided info within their archives.

Just an idea to help others...

i would love too, but i don't know how helpful i can be. i'll try...

this all happened by accident, first off. i could not do anything with my elctrical system, and that is the only way i could start my eton. i got a light bulb and followed the wires down to see how far i was getting power from my battery. i got power before my relay, but not after. so i went and bought a 25 dollar relay from a dealership, but still i got nothing. accidentally, i tapped two of the wires going to the relay together and poof! the starter tried to turn the engine and with a pump of the throttle i had a running atv. its a tricky thing but when both wires that lead into the relay are in the slots and are touching eachother, the engine turns. but the only way to stop the starter is to stop touching the two wires together.

i rigged a switch to do the job for me and now i have bi-passed the electrical system all together. nothing works but the lights: no horn, nothing else. i'd beware because i do not know the ultimate out come or how this will affect the starter... i hope this helps someone.
