I'd go with the dealer that seems the most helpfull. Both of the machines listed should do you a fine job.

The 2005 Viper has reverse as an option also which is a plus for you and the kids. The brake's on the Viper may be better also.
We have the predator 90 and it has been a great to us. On the other hand I like the options on the Viper(reverse, lights and the brakes) I may be shopping for a Viper soon just because of this.
They are both great choices. goodluck

What do you want for the lt50. I have a monsoon 90 and my boy is just a bit too small for it.
THanks Chris

We have a Polaris 90 sportsman for my daughter, and have only had 1
problem with it so far, but we've only had it going on 6 months. I tryed
starting it last December and flooded it real good.. other than that time,
it has started real easy and there are no gears for her to worry about
changing. They didn't have any E-Ton dealers around here so I wasn't
able to even look at one

To me, the E-Ton Viper 90 is a great machine. It has optional lights, hydronic disc brakes, thicker chain and is a small frame. Great for the smaller size kids. The Pred-90 has a bigger frame, more suspension and is a good trail bike. Some don't like the Pred-90 for deep water / deep mud trails but for dry dirt / rocks / stick type trails, they are great. Since they are each 2-stroke, both will easily spin their tires on the bottom end. Before deciding on each brand (for your majority of riding conditions), ensure it fits your kid properly. Safety is always first in my books.
Hope this helps...

You will be happy with either one! The Pred is a little taller, not as stable IMO, but better suspension. The Viper is a little lower, has a better rear brake. I'd let the little one decide, 'cause they are both about the same overall. Have fun!

I LIVE IN CUMBERLAND, MD AND WAS LOOKING FOR A QUALITY 80 OR 90 FOR MY SON. I HAD A 2003 HONDA 90 BUT IT WAS DIFFICULT STARTING FOR MY SON AND HE HAD PROBLEMS WITH SHIFTING THE GEARS. I HAVE A POLARIS DEALER AND E-TON DEALER WHO BOTH HAVE 90 ATV FOR APPROXIMATELY SAME PRICE, $2000.00 OUT THE DOOR. ANY INPUT AS TO THE ONE THAT IS RATED THE BEST AND WILL GIVE MY SON LITTLE MAINTENACE PROBLEMS. HE HAS A 2004 LT 50 BUT IT JUST DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH POWER TO PERMIT HIM TO GO TRAILING WITH THE REST OF US.
THANKS!
